Contemplating the Illusion of Time

As we prepare to say good-bye to one year and welcome a new one, we find ourselves contemplating this moment in time that, in truth, is no different than all others. As we look back we see amazing joy and horrific sorrow, and we had the rare opportunity to imagine an end to all that we know, only to realize that those who left this sign did not intend it as an ending, but, rather, simply another moment marking the concept of end, which, in reality, is neither end nor beginning, but only an ever renewing now. In this moment of now, let us prepare for the moments of now that will form the illusion of the coming year. Let us rededicate ourselves to ensuring that each is able to thrive within the All. With the intent of fulfilling the vision of the Creative Spirit, let us intone a heartfelt prayer: “May all beings be happy, may all beings be peaceful, may all beings be safe. May all beings awaken to the light of their true nature. May all beings be free.” Namaste!
