The Illusion of Separation

When our hearts sense the loss of a loved one, our sorrow and grief are natural expressions of that loss. As we work through these emotions we come at some point to the question of where our friend or family member has gone to. Where is their essence, their soul, their spirit? This inquiry can begin immediately or occur during or after the physical form has been removed from our presence. We have but to think of the person and wait expectantly to sense that he or she is close by. When we listen and watch with the ears and eyes of the heart, spirit senses a welcome that overcomes the illusion of separation. Namaste!
